War Opening Day report is nothing short of exceptional figures and Gigantic numbers as the film has taken the Indian Box Office by storm right from the very first shows.

War also stands as the record-holder now for the top advance booking sales for 1st day beating Baahubali 2 and just falling a little short of Avengers Endgame. However, in terms of overall advance booking, it is still at No 2 just falling behind Baahubali 2.

Avengers Endgame had an advance collection of 49.62 Crores while Baahubali 2 had advances of 37.53 crores War is somewhere between 31-32 crores and official figures will be updated by end of the day.

However, in terms of opening day, the film has overtaken Baahubali 2 by a margin.

War Opening Day (1st Day) Box Office Collection Report:

War opened to 78% Occupancy in the morning shows which rose up to 94% by 9 am shows. The 10.30 AM slows were running jampacked at 95% and after afternoon the film has simply gone even crazier with Housefull shows all across India right from single screens to Multiplexes.

The reviews of the film are on the positive side and the film has got an extended 5 day weekend. The film is looking forward to dethroning Thugs of Hindostan from the highest single day and highest opening day slot and create new records. However, since tomorrow is a working day it needs to be seen how the night shows perform.

There is a Gap of around 1000 screens between Thugs of Hindostan and War. War can only cover this distance if it keeps on firing till 11 PM shows. If it loses steam at any point in time then this record might be left untouched. However, at this moment it looks difficult that it will stop without breaking records.
