Street Daner 3D Friday (1st Day): This is a youth powered opening in true sense, student catchments areas opened well in the morning shows and kept on powering the collections till the noon shows.

In the evening also, the majority of the collections and came from college catchment areas and other centers were weaker as compared to these areas. Releasing with Panga and Facing off with Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior it was not an easy opening day for the film.

In these types of situations, films get sandwiched as there are many options to choose from and also there’s a Release of Disco Raja down south.

There were theatres in cities like Pune, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Delhi which ran to full capacity and were sold out but the overall ticket sales were not so good especially at the premium plexes across India and even the single screens did not come out in very large numbers which limited the best occupancy recorded on all India level to just 46%.

Also, the film is hit by the Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior Wave at the Box Office in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Nizam, CP-Berar and many other centers that have impacted the film adversely. Still, the opening day figures are good and if it can jump by 30% on Saturday then we might have a second success story in January 2020, but for that, we will have to wait till Monday evening.
