Bell Bottom 3rd Day (Saturday) Box Office Collection Report: Slow Again

Bell Bottom on its 3rd day at the box office has started slow again in the morning shows.

Bell Bottom 3rd Day: Akshay Kumar’s starer film Bell Bottom which was released on 19th August 2021 in theatres after the second wave of COVID-19 has started slowly at the box office. The film was expected to do well but due to fear of COVID-19 & restrictions the audience is not yet coming out to theatres.

The theatres are allowed to operate at 50% capacity in some states. However, in some states, the theatres are yet to open up. Maharashtra which is the biggest market for the film industry is yet to give a nod to the opening of theatres. Bell Bottom received a very good review from the critics and was expected to do well at the box office.

Bell Bottom 3rd Day (Saturday) Box Office Collection Report:

Bell Bottom managed to collect 5.72 Crores in 2 days at the box office. We are expecting that the occupancy will improve as the day progresses. Otherwise, it will be a very difficult way ahead for the film. As many states have allowed the theatres to open on Sunday we might see improved numbers.

DayMorning Shows (Occupancy)
Day 1 (Thursday)10% – 14%
Day 2 (Friday)10% – 14%
Day 3 (Saturday)10% – 13%

Looking at the current scenario in our country we won’t talk about the hit or superhit factor of the film. It is a brave move for the makers to release the film at this time. Akshay Kumar took the responsibility of the film industry on his shoulders to bring back the audience to theatres keeping his stardom at stake is appreciated.

With the current scenario, it is clear that the industry will take time to get back to normal. Due to the pandemic, the industry has suffered a lot & has gone many years back. As the vaccination drive in our country is going on at a good pace we can hope the things might get improved in a month or two. And more people come out to theatres.
